MURALS. LARGE SCALE GRAPHICS.
Cheers is an interactive mural designed and painted by myself at Noble Stein Brewing Company. This project aimed to create branding and interaction with customers in both physical and digital environments. The signature Noble Stein gnome is enlarged to a human scale inviting users to “cheers” the gnome for a photo-op that can be posted to social media.

Speal’s Off Wheels is the permanent location for the Speal’s On Wheels food truck. This signage mural is a straight forward take on the original Speal’s On Wheels logo. The original logo was slightly altered from “on” to “off” while the stripes extended to the end of the wall giving the pavilion a retro atmosphere, while providing signage and placemaking for passing traffic.

These murals were created to turn some of the more unsightly areas of the property into a more welcoming entrance into the back patio. “Loading… Zone” is a play on words using the noble stein logo in conjunction with a computer loading screen. “Context” creates a juxtaposition between a colorful illustrative world and the weathered reality of the material its painted on. “Live At Noble Stein” is a promotional sign aimed to draw consumers in for a summer concert series. Additionally, a new tap handle was designed to create a visual attraction to the Noble Stein brand. This is achieved through using pivot points in the logo to allow the gnomes to swing forward and back when the tap handle is pulled to pour a beer.

Water Isn’t A Game is a technology and art innovative laboratory that seeks to explore how people learn and engage with storm water management using games, technology, design thinking, and art. This signage was created for the Water Isn’t A Game exhibit in residence with DEPART-MENT at Albert & Tina Small Center. Drawing inspiration from Super Mario Bros. the design plays off the exhibit title. Water is not a Game… or is it?
